Cross Country Ski / Snowshoe Packages:
Our midweek package includes accommodations for two guests, a full country breakfast for two guests, two trail passes for the #1 Cross Country Ski Network in the Eastern United States - the  Jackson Ski Touring Foundation and apres ski with traditional Swiss Fondue for two in the evening. Rates from $97.00 Sunday - Thursday per person, double occupancy.
On weekends and holidays your package rate will include accommodations for two guests, a full country breakfast for two and a four course dinner for two in the evening plus two trail passes for the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation. Rates from $123.00 per person, double occupancy. (two night minimum stay required on weekends, three night minimum stay holiday weekends).

The Wentworth Country Inn provides ideal ski lodging. It is located on 158KM of groomed cross country ski trails which are part of the extensive Jackson Ski Touring Foundation trail network, and fifteen minutes from the cross country ski trailnetwork of Great Glen Trails at the base of Mt. Washington. From many of our guest rooms you can simply ski right out from your door. For your convenience we offer safe and secure ski racks here at the inn to store your skis.

Events at the Jackson Ski Touring Foundation for 2010


  • Easy Sliders - Tuesdays and Fridays, January 5th - March 12th 10:30AM
    Easy sliders is a gentle introduction to cross country skiing and winter fitness for people who want to excercise but don't know how to begin. Open to absolute beginners and will introduce new skiers to basic XC technique. Rate is $10.00 for each session including rentals.

  • Tuesday Trekers - January 5th - March 12th 1:00PM
    For snowshoers, a social treck to explore the forest followed by refreshments by the fireplace. Experience many wondrous winter things along the way. $18.00 per person includes a day pass.

  • Friday Gliders Classic Social Ski - Fridays, January 8th - March 26th 1:00PM
    With Ski School Director Marianne Borowski and a host of other skiers. Very fun and social with instructional tips along the way. Includes apres ski stretching and refreshments. Routes split by ability as needed. $22.00 per person includes a day pass. Skill level - experienced beginner to expert.

  • Snowshoe Instructional Nature Tour 10:00AM - Noon - Relaxed Pace Tour, or 1:00PM - 3:00PM - Adventurous Tour
    Our guide leads a group on a snowshoe outing and gives snowshoe techniques along the way. This is the perfect way to introduce yourself to snowshoeing and the winter woods. $10.00 and rental snowshoes are available for rent at the Touring Center.
