Take Exit 4 to
the Spaulding Turnpike North, (this becomes Rt. 16N), to
Conway.
Continue to
follow Route 16 (be careful where Route 16 takes a left at
the second set of lights in Conway) through North Conway. Do
not take the 16A after North Conway - stay on Route 16 North
to where Routes 16 & 302 split in Glen. You will see
Storybook Resort Inn on your right-hand side and Dairy Queen
on your left.
Take a right at
the junction, continuing to follow Route 16 North. You will
pass by Story Land on your right; continue up the hill until
you see the Jackson Covered Bridge on your right.
Go through the
Covered Bridge on Route 16A into Jackson Village.
At the fork in
the center of the village (junction of 16A and 16B) bear to
your left, over the stone bridge and The Wentworth will be
right in front of you.
From I-93: Option A
Take I-93 North
to Exit 23.
Take a right off
exit onto Route 104 East. Follow to end of road.
Take left onto
Route 3 North, for just a short distance to next set of
lights.
Take a right onto
Route 25. Follow to the junction of Routes 25 and 16.
Take a left onto
Route 16 North.
Continue to
follow Route 16 (be careful where Route 16 takes a left at
the second set of lights in Conway) through North Conway. Do
not take the 16A after North Conway - stay on Route 16 North
to where Routes 16 & 302 split in Glen. You will see
Storybook Resort Inn on your right-hand side and Dairy Queen
on your left.
Take a right at
the junction, continuing to follow Route 16 North. You will
pass by Story Land on your right; continue up the hill until
you see the Jackson Covered Bridge on your right.
Go through the
Covered Bridge on Route 16A into Jackson Village.

your left, over the stone bridge and The Wentworth will be
right in front of you.
From I-93: Option B
Take I-93 North
to Exit 32 (Lincoln/Woodstock Exit).
Take a left off
onto Route 112 (Kancamagus Highway).
Go through
Lincoln and continue on Kancamagus Highway for approximately
22 miles.
After reaching
the peak of this scenic highway, you'll start your descent
down; you'll pass the Russell-Colbath historical house with
a cemetery on your left, then Jigger Johnson's Campground.
In summer and fall
Shortly after the
Jigger Johnson's Campground you will see a sign for Bear
Notch Road.
Take a left onto
Bear Notch Road (closed in the winter) and follow to the
end.
At the blinking
light, take a right onto Route 302, heading toward North
Conway.
At the
intersection in Glen (you'll see Grant's Supermarket, Irving
Station and Dairy Queen on your right), take a left onto
Route 16 North. You will pass by Story Land on your right;
continue up the hill until you see the Jackson Covered
Bridge on your right.
Go through the
Covered Bridge on Route 16A into Jackson Village.
At the fork in
the center of the village (junction of 16A and 16B) bear to
your left, over the stone bridge and The Wentworth will be
right in front of you.
In winter and spring
Follow the
Kancamagus Highway to the end and take a left onto Route 16
North.
Continue to
follow Route 16 (be careful where Route 16 takes a left at
the second set of lights in Conway) through North Conway to
where Routes 16 & 302 split in Glen. You will see Storybook
Resort Inn on your right-hand side and Dairy Queen on your
left.
Take a right at
the junction, continuing to follow Route 16 North. You will
pass by Story Land on your right; continue up the hill until
you see the Jackson Covered Bridge on your right.
Go through the
Covered Bridge on Route 16A into Jackson Village.
At the fork in
the center of the village (junction of 16A and 16B) bear to
your left, over the stone bridge and The Wentworth will be
right in front of you.
If you want to bypass the North Conway's
shopping district
By taking the
I-93 directions for Summer and Fall you will completely
bypass North Conway.
If you are
traveling via I-95 or I-93 in Winter or Spring at the first
set of lights in Conway, take a left onto Washington Street
and bear left at the fork onto West Side Road. Stay on West Side
Road to the end and take a right at the T junction onto
River Road.
At the end of
River Road, take a left onto Route 16 North (you will now be
at the other end of North Conway) Follow Route 16 North to
Glen and follow as above.
From Portland, Maine
Head west on Route 302; follow it through
Center Conway. It will go right towards North Conway just
before a set of lights.
If you want to bypass the North Conway's
shopping district
Turn right at the next set of lights by
Wal-Mart in North Conway onto the North-South Road.
At the end of the North-South Road, turn
left onto Kearsarge Road.
At the light, turn right onto Route 16 and
follow the directions below.
If you want to travel through North Conway's
shopping district
Continue to follow Route 302. Bear to the
right where Route 302 joins Route 16 by the Bank of New
Hampshire.
Continue on Route 16 through North Conway to
where Routes 16 & 302 split in Glen. You will see Storybook
Resort Inn on your right-hand side and Dairy Queen on your
left.
Take a right at the junction, continuing to
follow Route 16 North. You will pass by Story Land on your
right; continue up the hill until you see the Jackson
Covered Bridge on your right.
Go through the Covered Bridge on Route 16A
into Jackson Village.
At the fork in the center of the village
(junction of 16A and 16B) bear to your left, over the stone
bridge and The Wentworth will be right in front of you.
