The Thornycroft Cottage is just about open and accepting reservations.
Couture Construction out of Berlin New Hampshire were once again the construction company chosen as they had done such a great job for us with the Fairlawn Cottage.
We worked closely with Arthur "Sonny" Couture, President and owner of the company and his designer Claude Pigon to come up with the design of the building. During construction on a daily basis we worked with Project Manager Phil Betard and Project Foreman Dave Guitard - thank you to both of them.
Jinnie Kim Design is a Boston based group of architects and interior design professionals specialized in hotels and we were once again fortunate to work with Jinnie Kim for this project. Soothing tones of greens and blues were used with vibrant splashes of red.
The hot tubs we choose for the Thornycroft Suites are a Nordic Hot Tub
Bucket seats face the outdoors with targeted, powerful jets providing invigorating hydrotherapy. A versatile bench seat faces indoors so you can watch your TV and these jets offer a gentler, whole-body therapy. Heated floors, dimmable lights, surround sound, a flat screen TV and privacy blinds complete the experience.
RE Marble and Granite located in Temple NH provided all the marble and granite for the new suites. The floors in the bathrooms are a Vermont Royal Danby Marble matching nicely with the mini-bar and vanity countertops which are a Viatera Quartz. Dave Brassard owner of the company made several personal visits to make sure we were choosing a product that was not only beautiful but would suit our needs.
