charming Village of Jackson, New Hampshire, and The Wentworth.
Your escape begins as you drive through the covered
bridge and enter the picturesque village of Jackson in the heart of
the majestic White Mountains. The Wentworth is bordered on the
east side by the beautiful Jackson Falls of the Wildcat River, while
to the west, the inn is framed by the 18 PGA hole Wentworth Golf
Course, which in Winter is part of the extensive Jackson Ski Touring
Foundation. The Wentworth was built in 1869, and today history
rests easily with the ambiance of The Wentworth: a comfortable
and elegant country inn, managed with contemporary efficiency and
amenities, but echoing a gentler tradition of European and
turn-of-the-century New England innkeeping.
Our standard and superior rooms are tastefully
decorated in French provincial furniture and have private bath, cable
TV, hair dryers and have central heat and air conditioning. Our deluxe
rooms and suites have been designed with your total comfort and
relaxation in mind, bathrooms with oversized whirlpool tub, king
sleigh bed and a large fireplace in the sitting area of the bedroom.
Suites have a separate parlor with sofa, TV armoire and gas fireplace,
some with private outdoor hot tub. We offer 51 rooms both in our main
inn and in the surrounding cottages, with names such as Sunnyside and
Fairlawn - perfect for a golf, ski or small corporate group. Our two

Our chef creates an exceptional menu with nightly
specials using only the finest and the freshest local ingredients. Our wine
list has been awarded the "Award of Excellence" from the
Wine Spectator.
