Foliage Update

 There hasn’t been much change yet in the foliage in the White Mountains region, the area remains mostly green with sprinkled oranges and reds along waterways and swamps. However we just had our first frost last night (09/19/09) which will start the push for our area into colorful autumn glory.

We are anticipating peak foliage around the first week of October, but if you want to see some color without the peak room rates try visiting us the week of September 25th through the 30th. Just a short drive north will bring you to some beautiful foliage. We will guide you on tours through the notches for optimal foliage viewing. Many say this is the best time to visit.
