To Our Guests:
Since purchasing the hotel in 1990, my late husband Fritz and my commitment has been to provide you with an exceptional experience in a warm and friendly environment. This is even more important today as we adjust to living with COVID-19. Enhancements are being made throughout our hotel to help ensure a clean and safe stay.
We have re-designed our check-in process to reduce contact by implementing transparent shields, providing you with your own sanitized pen for signatures on our registration form and allowing you to swipe your own credit card. You will be provided with your own Freshends Sanitizer wipe to travel with to your guest room.
Can easily be done remotely, simply let us us know when you are leaving and we will e-mail you a copy of your folio.
Signs and visual cues have been installed throughout our hotel to allow six feet between you and others, as recommended by the CDC. We also ask you to travel only with your immediate party on the elevator. If you would rather take the stairs these are sanitized on a regular basis.
Clean Common Areas
When you stay with us, it is likely you will see our staff at work, using a detailed checklist to ensure all high-touch areas—including handles, bathrooms and elevator buttons and more—are disinfected frequently throughout the day in alignment with CDC guidance.
We are not allowed to accept any guests without advance reservations so we will be taking a reservation for both your breakfast and dinner at the time of making your reservation. At this time for both meals we are serving both outside and inside with tables spaced six feet apart. Our indoor dining area is very spacious and our patio is covered with an awning with heaters if needed for your comfort. The largest party we can accommodate at this time is six guests.
Breakfast will be offered in two options, our grab and go breakfast or by reservation only for the moment served outside or inside. Our grab and go breakfast will have a juice, a muffin and either a hot breakfast item or fruit, granola and yogurt parfait – all made in-house with pre-packaged utensils so you can eat in the comfort of your guest room or in one of the many beautiful outdoor spots that the hotel and our beautiful village offers. This is available starting at 7:00 AM for those of you looking for an early start. Regular dining starts at 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM Monday – Friday and until 11:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
Dinner will be by reservation only to allow appropriate spacing between parties and is also served indoors and outdoors. We served from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday – Thursday and until 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. You will notice some changes and streamlining to our menu and this is to facilitate being able to offer this service during this trying time.
Fitness Center and Pool
We want you to enjoy these spaces safely and both areas do require us to social distance our guests. Therefore space is limited. We ask you to use the pool only if there are chairs available in the area and please be mindful if others are in the gym.
Private Hot Tubs
If you rent one of our rooms with a private hot tub, the tub is open and available for your use. We have always, and will continue to, drain, clean, and refill the tubs between each guest stay.
We want you to feel safe from check-in to check-out, and everywhere in between. We are using products and guidelines approved by the CDC and EPA, and our housekeeping staff has received additional and on-going cleanliness training from EcoLab focused on disinfection of high-touch areas in your room. We are not allowed to provide you with stay over service at this time. We are happy to provide you with fresh towels and disposal of your garbage during your stay in a contactless way.
Specifically in each guestroom our staff will:
Disinfect high-touch areas throughout room. This includes all door handles and locks, light switches, telephone, remote control, faucet, alarm clock, tops of the furniture, and other items you may use such as the ice bucket and lid, hairdryer, hangers and iron.
Launder using CDC approved settings, including the use of chlorine bleach, we are lucky enough to have our own laundry on property so we have complete control.
We have removed all marketing materials, pen and paper from guestrooms and non-disposable items from the guestroom between each guest.
Health & Wellness
Wentworth staff members are screened on a daily basis to ensure they are symptom-free. We enforce proper hand hygiene and are also providing our team with masks to protect themselves and you.
We encourage our staff to practice social distancing, too. This helps them to keep one another healthy, safe and ready to serve you
This is our commitment to you and we ask that you offer the same commitment to us when you visit. Please note that at this time we are allowed to accept reservations from New England States showing proof of residency at check in. Guests for states other than New England are required to sign an affidavit at check in indicating that they have self-quarantined in their home for two weeks prior to arrival leaving only for essential purchases and while doing so wearing a mask and practicing proper social distancing.
Please wear your mask when you check in and as you go to your guest room. When dining with us on the patio or in our dining room we ask that you wear your mask when you enter and leave the dining areas or while using the restrooms.
Please practice social distancing, this will help keep you and us safe.
We ask that you do not visit us if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 fever – Below is what our staff have to commit to upon reporting for work. We ask that you do the same to yourself prior to visiting us:
All employees have their temperature taken and must be below 100 degrees F to work. They are also asked the below screening questions and if they answer yes to any of the below questions they are asked to leave the premises and seek medical advice.
◦ Have you been in close contact with a Confirmed case of COVID-19?
◦ Have you had a fever or felt feverish in the last 72 hours?
◦ Are you experiencing any respiratory symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath?
◦ Are you experiencing any new muscle aches or chills?
◦ Have you experienced any new changes in your sense of taste or smell?
