Summer Activities

During the summer, fill your days with outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, biking, golfing at The Wentworth Golf Club next door or at one of our many local golf courses, canoeing, horseback riding at Black Mountain just up the road, reading on our sunny porch or lounging in a mountain stream. Take part in the perennial sport of tax-free outlet shopping, or explore the endless number of nearby antiques shops.

Winter Activities

In winter, the local downhill and cross-country ski areas are open and snowshoeing allows all to explore our winter wonderland. By mid-December, weather permitting, our complimentary ice-skating rink is open. Overlooking the ice-skating rink we offer fire pits to warm up by – with a hot chocolate from our lounge, of course. For as many weekends as the weather permits, we create a fun and festive ice bar with creative cocktails, music and fun for all.
