Come See All the Ducks at the Wildquack Duck River Festival

No matter your reason for visiting New Hampshire, there is much scenery to be taken in. And right in the heart of the imperial White Mountains, you’ll find a covered bridge that takes you to the Wentworth Inn. It’s here that you’ll enjoy an 18-hole PGA Wentworth golf course, Nordic skiing, rushing rivers and much more. If you’re visiting the area during the month of May, don’t forget to stop by the Wildquack Duck River Festival.

This year there will be more than $10,000 worth of cash and prizes to be handed out as well as an assortment of silent auctions to take part in. The most exciting part of the festival is when more than 3,500 yellow rubber ducks are released into the Wildcat River. You and the kids are sure to have a great time watching the thousands of ducks make their way to the finish line, and if your duck wins, you can go home with $1,000 cash in your pocket.

Drawing in thousands of tourists and visitors each year, the Wildquack Duck River Festival features traveling train rides, its very own parade, and for the little ones there’s Bo Bo T. Clown. Local food vendors set up several food stands allowing you to delight yourself in the many types of local cuisine. If you have a craving for something sweet, make sure to take part in the Jackson Cake Boss, which is set to start at 2 PM.

What are you waiting for? It’s time to make the Wildquack Duck River Festival an annual family event!
