For those feeling adventurous, attend the NH Sanctioned & Jackson Invitational Snow Sculpting Competition. Sculptors from all backgrounds and professions enjoy the annual snow sculpting competition in the northern New Hampshire town of Jackson. The 12 participating teams consist of 2 – 3 members, and are either living in New Hampshire or working in our majestic state. Each team
is supplied with a cylinder shaped block of snow 4 feet by 8 feet to create their incredible snow sculptures.
Teams begin at noon time on Friday, February 27th and work through Sunday, March 1st. Judging commences on Sunday at noon, and is based on creativity, technique and message.
Other weekend activities include:
Friday @ 6:00 pm – Torch light parade, bonfire, & roasting marshmallows
