NH October Getaway – Special Rates

Enjoy crisp and sunny weather, White Mountains fall foliage hitting its peak, the Pumpkin People taking up residence in Jackson Village—now’s an amazing time to stay at the Wentworth Inn!

And we’ve got some exciting news, too: We’re offering some discounted late fall off-season rates from October 23 through December 22!

That stretch of the season casts quite the spell. We’re talking quiet backroads still glowing with the last autumn colors, Jackson’s restaurants and shops pleasantly uncrowded, and the kickoff to early winter—with the promise of cross-country and alpine skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and all that other good stuff!

Our Late Fall Specials

Our upcoming seasonal specials include both midweek and weekend deals, including dinner-and-breakfast and breakfast-only packages with some mighty hard to resist price tags. And many of our guests take advantage of the low late-fall rates to upgrade to a room with a private outdoor hot tub—absolutely perfect for some autumnal R&R on the heels of hiking, leaf-peeping, or early-season skiing or snowshoeing!

Fall Colors Still Underway

And speaking of leaf-peeping, we’ve still got weeks of fall color in store here in the White Mountains. October tends to be our peak month, so now’s time to bring those cameras (and camera-phones) to the Wentworth Inn and capture some wall-calendar-worthy shots of the forest kaleidoscope.

You know those postcard New England scenes of covered bridges flanked by red and golden canopies, or gentle mountains painted in blazing multicolor? Well, there’s nothing like slapping eyes on such beauty in person, and that’s part of the daily rhythm here at the Wentworth. Heck, Jackson’s home to one of the handsomest covered bridges in New Hampshire: the “Honeymoon Bridge,” a quick amble from our doorstep.

And when the most intense hues have shuffled off the leafy stage, the show’s not quite over: There are still pockets of color out there in our vast forests as late autumn rolls into winter.

Winter’s Coming Attractions

Even as we’re reveling in the fall colors (and those Pumpkin People), we’re also eagerly looking forward to winter! Within easy reach of the Wentworth, there are miles and miles of woodsy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing routes—including the lovely layout of the Jackson Ski Touring trail network. And we’re also just a stone’s throw from some fantastic slopes: Black Mountain, Wildcat Mountain, Bretton Woods, and others. Combining wintry outdoor adventures with a meal at the Wentworth Inn restaurants—or a soak in that outdoor hot tub of yours—is sheer magic.

So take advantage of our special off-season rates here at the Wentworth Inn! Don’t miss this quiet, reflective, gob-smackingly beautiful season.
